I had the pleasure of participating in the first leg of this year’s Spring Splash along the Neuse River. I wish I could have done the entire 12-mile trip, but unfortunately I have three editions of The Free Press to map out on Friday afternoons, so it’s rare for me to have any kind of fun that day, let alone take the whole day to kayak down the river.
