I’m actually excited that I get to experience my first hurricane tonight. Of course, I’m not sure if this one is expected to be all that serious, but that’s perfectly fine with me.

Still, I think it will be hard to top Christmas a few years ago when I got caught in the middle of a blizzard that dumped seven feet of snow on Buffalo and the surrounding area. I was actually driving to Syracuse in the middle of it and was forced to drive one mile in reverse on the New York State Thruway (I-90) to get back to the nearest exit and get off the road.

Oh well. Can’t wait to see what happens tonight.
